Aamir Khan Launches Satyamev Jayate Season 3 !

Aamir Khan will return on Star Plus as host of "Satyamev Jayate" on September 21. This season has a new, additional element. Having received an overwhelmingly positive response, and having initiated affirmative action with some of their case studies, the show takes on an interactive avatar this season - post the 90 minute episode, there will be an hour of live interaction with Aamir on the episode's topic. Good thing, I suppose, but how much is too much? The actor cried a couple of times, recalling some of the more stark incidents that he witnessed from the program's research, even as he acknowledged friend and producer Satyajit Bhatkal's commitment to doing some good with mass communication and his contribution in creating the show. But the comment from Aamir that stood out during this launch event was on "Mardaani" receiving an A certificate. Rani Mukerji will repeal the "Mardaani" case with the Censor Board for a U/A certificate, as he firmly believes that the film should be seen by young girls and teenagers to learn about the risks of trafficking. Aamir has tweeted his appreciation for Rani's performance in the film earlier. When asked about the A Certificate though, he said that some language in the film, and a scene that features a severed finger of a young girl, make it worthy of A Certification. He finds this content too violent for younger audiences. As for the near nude "P.K." poster being considered vulgar by some, Aamir smiled through this question, and said that his nation wide fan base would understand why the poster looks like that. He also quipped that not much in the poster is different from what you see at a public swimming pool.
