Cette video complète mon article "Robert de Visée's corpus: a stylistic tutor", paru dans Quarterly, journal of the Lute Society of America, fall 2012. Basées sur les 5 versions manuscrites existantes de ce prélude R0.15 (n° de ma Table de Concordances"), ces quatre interprétations illustrent quelques aspects de la flexibilité instrumentale et musicale inhérente à cette musique - l'exemple le plus flagrant étant l'absence de la dernière partie dans la version de Claire Antonini, choix totalement légitime puisque deux manuscrits l'omettent aussi, et un autre en offre une version raccourcie.
Ici en Rém, la version pour guitare pourrait aussi être réalisée en Mim, et je devrais bien proposer une version pour théorbe dans un an ou deux, n'ayant que 8 mois de pratique de l'instrument au moment de l'enregistrement.

Based on the five existing manuscripts, these four versions display some aspects of the musical and instrumental flexibility offered by this music - the most obvious example being the absence of the last part in Claire Antonini's setting, an absolutely legitimous choice, as two manuscripts excluded it, while another offered a shortened variant of it.
Here in Dm key, the guitar setting could also be in Em, and I'd be wise to offer another theorbo version in one or two years, this one having been recorded with only 8 months of tackling the instrument.
