Free Medical Camp at Maidan by Pak Army

Commandant Dir Task force Colonel Nasar Umar Hayat Laleka urged residents and youth of Maidan to get technical knowledge and benefit from science and technology. Addressing a gathering at a free medical camp at Gal Shagai Maidan organized by the Pakistan army on Tuesday he said the security forces had been engaged to rebuild damaged schools by militants in Maidan.
More than 1200 patients including women and children were checked by male and lady doctors at the camp. The patients were also provided with free of cost medicines and laboratory tests. Colonel Zeeshan, Major Umair, Captain Ali and Dr Abdul Qudoos were also present on the occasion.
The commandant said it was the age of science and technology and children must be equipped with modern education in order to compete in their practical life. He said several educational institutions in Maidan were destroyed on the hands of militants. He said majority of the damaged schools had been rebuilt while the rest would also be constructed soon. He asked the gathering to keep vigilant eye on strangers in their villages and inform security forces on seeing suspected persons. He said residents of the village would be questioned if any untoward incident occurred in its area. He said the Pakistan army was spending Rs 600,000 on free medical camp. He asked locals to take benefit of this facility.
