Lauren Bacall died in her New York apartment on Tuesday, at the age of 89 following a stroke. Humphrey Bogart's estate, run by their son Stephen Bogart, posted this message Tuesday on twitter, "with deep sorrow, yet with great gratitude for her amazing life, we confirm the passing of Lauren Bacall."
