The Maha Kumbh Festival is the biggest festival of the Hindus which comes once every twelve years.This festival is witness to the largest number of humans gathered for a common purpose. The most important event of this holy festival is the ritual bath on the banks of the Ganges river. The purpose of this holy bath is the belief behind it that bathing in the holy river removes all sins and breaks the cycle of reincarnation. Kumbh mela is attended by millions of people to wash away their sins and attain Moksha.
