Behind the Saket PVR complex lives Amma, or otherwise known as Pratima Devi. She lives in a shack - A women clothed in a pink sari who shares her home with the stray dogs of the area.

For most people, the dogs are a great concern - they are everywhere, they become a nuisance for small kids and the elderly, and they carry diseases. Being bitten by one of these dogs is the ultimate fear.

Amma feeds them daily, depending on the goodwill of others to feed the sometimes up to 400 dogs. Amma is originally from Kolkata, but came to Delhi many years ago and spent a great part of her life working as a maid. Ramesh helps her look after the dogs and buys medicine where needed and administers it.
