New three-day truce agreed by Hamas and Israel

The United Nations and United States have announced a 72-hour truce between Israel and Hamas in Gaza, to begin in an hour's time. Both Israel and Hamas have independently confirmed that they will respect the 3-day truce. But tank fire and shelling has continued early into Friday morning killing more Palestinians. And five Israeli soldiers were killed along the Gaza border late on Thursday. Al Jazeera's Kimberly Halkett reports from the UN.
