Ann Arbor Plastic Surgery’s billboard featuring the message, ‘friends don’t let friends muffin top’ was painted over and now reads ‘you’re beautiful’.

Pictured on the sign were two muffins wearing jeans, only now the muffins are also sporting spray-painted smiley faces.

The plastic surgery center located in Jackson, Michigan was surprised by the negative public reaction to the roadside advertisement.

A doctor from the office said he thought that they’d presented the matter in a humorous and lighthearted way.

The vandalism will be reported, but the billboard won’t be immediately replaced.

Rather than putting up a fresh print of the current ad, the plan is to rethink the advertising strategy before proceeding.

This is the second time in a row that Ann Arbor Plastic Surgery has had some issues with their campaigns.

The billboard that was up before this one drew some public outrage of its own.

It featured two cups of coffee, a small one labeled B and a larger one labeled D, and said, ‘Size matters’.

People called that one both tasteless and rude.

While many expressed that they weren’t at all upset about either, the plastic surgery practice has issued apologies to anyone they offended.
