Pakistan Muslim League (N) MPA from Faisalabad Rana Shoaib Idrees has been declared accused by the Police after initial investigation. Rana Shoaib Idrees was accused of being involved in attacking the Police Station in Khurianwala, Faisalabad. Shoaib Idrees has refused to be a part of the investigation unless he gets the bail.
He has been booked under Article 540 for attacking the Police Satation Khurrian, getting accused flee from Police Station, interfering in administrative matter and terrorizing the government officials.
After initial investigation, Police declared him as accused and raided his house last night but the MPA had already fled. 7 police officers were suspended for allegedly leaking the information about raid to Shoaib Idrees prior to the raid.
Initially the Police had not named the MPA and had just mentioned in its report that a ‘political personality’ was involved in getting a murder accused person flee from Police custody. However, after recording the statements of eye-witnesses and the First Investigation Report, Police named Shoaib Idrees as the primary accused in the case.
