Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff talks to Al Jazeera's Gabriel Elizondo in capital Brasilia about her country's social and economic woes at a time when it is hosting the 2014 World Cup.

Rousseff, who is running for re-election in October, said that while her country spent billions to host the international football event, it also brought "immense" gains to the country including the construction of infrastructure.
