At least five people are killed in the Somali capital Saturday in bomb and gun attacks by Islamist militants.
Al Shabaab militants said they detonated a car bomb that killed two soldiers guarding the Somali parliament.
The militants struck again a few hours later, shooting dead three traffic officers.
Al Shabaab had vowed to step up attacks during the Muslim month of Ramadan.
