ISIS shot into the headlines earlier this month when they seized Iraq's second largest city of Mosul. The group was formed in 2013 as an offshot of Al-Qaeda. Since then, they have recruited thousands of fighters and amassed significant funds, reportedly from the Sunni-led states of Qatar and Saudi Arabia.
