Reps for the singer had previously said that Lopez would not make a scheduled performance at the game's opening due to "production issues," but that statement was apparently premature because Lopez said that she is going and will perform at Thursday's (June 12) ceremony. Lopez recorded the official song for this year's World Cup, "We Are One (Ole Ola)," with Pitbull - who is also slated to perform.
