In the run-up to next week’s World Cup in Brazil, our final episode of our series of Brazilians in Berlin profiles artist Alex Flemming. Although he was born and raised in Sao Paulo, Brazil, Flemming has German roots as part of his family emigrated to Brazil from Germany in 1896. He also spoke German as a child, and after German reunification decided to make Berlin, Germany, his home.
