Why it takes one year to make a traditional Navajo rug

Navajo rug weaver Amy Begay spent months weaving a rug using an age-old tradition of shorning the sheep, spinning the yarn, creating the pattern and fashioning a round loom. The process took about a year but the results were worth it.
