Despite being saddled stateside with the garish title "Blood Beast from Outer Space", this British offering is an intelligent bit of low-budget sci-fi, directed by John Gilling (better known for horror offerings like "The Flesh and the Fiends", "The Gorgon", "Plague of the Zombies" and "The Reptile" among others). Seems there's this chap from Ganymede looking for lasses to ship home for genetic purposes--all on the QT, you understand. Wouldn't do to call attention to oneself...
