I was sent this power bank by the manufacturers for review and I think it is very good. It has a capacity of 8000mAh which is enough to charge most mobile phones 3 or 4 times or most tablets once with plenty left over - although it depends on your individual device, of course. It's a really useful thing to have if you need to recharge on the move.
This power bank is beautifully presented in an elegant slip-case box and comes with a nice felt carrying case. The unit itself is also very nicely designed. It is slim and compact (14.5cm x 7cm x 1cm) and light for a unit of this capacity at 170g (6oz) so it will slip neatly into a pocket.
It is very simple to use. Just plug the micro-USB lead supplied (or any other micro-USB lead) into the USB port of a computer or wall charger and the micro-USB socket on the power bank. I found it takes around 6 hours for a full charge. It has the usual display of 4 small LEDs to indicate charge level. Using the power bank to charge your device is just as simple. It has a single output ports 2.1A which will take your device's own lead or the supplied micro-USB lead.
This seems like a very good-quality product. Leakage rate is very low, safety features are properly built-in and it has a good, robust feel. The instruction manual is perfectly adequate, although it's so intuitive that you probably won't need it. In a crowded market, I think this unit's real selling points are its presentation and very elegant looks. It would genuinely make a very nice present for someone who can use a power bank - I was very pleased when I received mine - and I can recommend this warmly.
