Dr. Savaard's research into transplant surgery involves arresting the body's metabolism, so of course, when he's interrupted mid-experiment, his patient stays "arrested"--and Doc is arrested for murder! Luckily for him, his lab assistant paid attention and is able to resurrect him. Unluckily for those who sent him to the gallows, he came back with a chip on his shoulder...
