Argentina’s captain and Rosario-born Lionel Messi is an idol in his homeland, and often referred to as the greatest football player of all time. At only 27 years old, he has broken record after record, including being the first player in history to win four FIFA Ballon d’Or awards, all of which he won consecutively.
