Police officers in Mexico discovered a mutilated woman's body stuffed in a suitcase in a Mexico City metro station on Saturday.

Authorities were informed of an abandoned suitcase at the entrance to the San Antonio metro station on Saturday night. Auxiliary officers arrived and examined the blue suitcase. Inside they found a message that read, "Don't steal from the Familia Michoacana. You're next, Jonas", and a black plastic bag that contained a decapitated woman's corpse that was also missing its hands.

According to national newspaper Milenio, police said that the victim was around 30 years old and that there were two small scars on the abdomen, possibly the result of plastic surgery. The body showed no signs of torture. The identity of the victim remains unknown.

The man who delivered the suitcase was recorded by surveillance cameras. He boarded a train at the El Rosario metro station and got off at the San Antonio metro station, a journey that took about 30 minutes. He then climbed some stairs, passed through the turnstiles and left the suitcase at the entrance to San Antonio station. Police have yet to identify the man.
