In the east of the Democratic of Republic of Congo, former enemies are being reconciled through agriculture.
In the district of Ituri, a pilot farm is uniting former rebel fighters, both with each other and with the community they once terrorised.
The area is still recovering from a civil war which turned the north-east into the country’s bloodiest corner. An inter-ethnic conflict between the Hema and Lendu tribes saw as many as 60,000 people killed in a bid to control the region’s vast mineral wealth.
