Doctors in China were recently forced to perform surgery on a man to remove a jump rope from his bladder and urethra. If you’re wondering how a jump rope got deeply lodged inside his body, get ready for a big shock.

Reportedly, the patient inserted the rope as a means of ‘sexual pleasure’. After the male inserted it and did whatever he did for fun, he tried to pull it back out and found himself in serious trouble because the rope was firmly stuck inside his body and wouldn’t budge.

When urinating proved to be painful, the 40-something year-old man sought medical help. Doctors performed an x-ray and saw portions of the 3 and a half foot long plastic rope stuck in a narrow section of his urethra.

About 4 inches of the rope was left dangling out of the opening. The surgery wasn’t exactly an easy process because the rope was knotted in numerous places.

It seems as though the operation was a success, however, as surgeons did in fact get the rope out. The urologist involved in the medical efforts said the patient’s action of inserting the jump rope into his body, is ‘ridiculous’.
