More and more apprenticeship vacancies go unfilled every year - leaving a serious shortfall of skilled manual workers. Pilot projects in Münster and Würzburg are now recruiting young people who have left university before graduation. They’re given counseling and then swapping the lecture hall for the workbench. One of these young people is Timo Uetz from Münster in North Rhine-Westphalia.
