i'd like to 'xscape' this foolishness of continually "contemporizing" michael's work!!!

why must people keep posthumously altering michael's art? michael actually was not into remixes of his songs in the first place, and he mentioned this in an interview (with black and white magazine, july 1996):

B&W: What do you think of the remixes they did of your songs?

M: The least I can say is that I don't like them... I don't like it that they come in and change my songs completely, But Sony says that the kids love remixes...

B&W: That is not true! The kids don't love the remixes that much, especially those on BOTDF!

M: I knew it! I was sure!

so imagine the tampering they're doing with his art now... i wasn't into all the remixes, but i actually liked some of them- but that was when he was still physically here!

his vision was as he presented it. no one else can interpret that, no matter how much they want to try.

and the cover of this upcoming album- i just can't with that. is that supposed to be the real cover??!!

(p.s. just to be clear, i'm not speaking about covers that people do of his songs... i'm talking about these producers coming in and posthumously remixing songs he personally/physically worked on.)
