These are soe of the construction images of the East Chesterton Youth & Community Centre in Cambridge. Polarwall Insulated Concrete Formwork was chosen as the build method due to the adaptability of the formwork to create any curve or radius on site. Polarwall is unique amongst the ICF products in being totally without dimensional modules and consequently can create any shape or radius either in pre-assembled ICF panels or it can be shaped to the radus on-site both quickly and cost effectively. This structure was designed with several radii (raonging from 9m to 37m) both concave and convex. The structure was built as a low-energy structure with a very low U-value.
