Nissan says it engineered the second generation of its Note in Europe for Europe, packaging lots of technical goodies inside a sporty compact hatchback design to deliver carefree city driving.

For a few euros more, buyers get technology normally reserved for the higher-priced classes, such as the All-Round Monitor consisting of four cameras: one in front, one behind and two on the sides. It comes with blind-spot and lane-departure warning systems plus another assist that spots moving objects when driving in reverse. Together they make up Nissan's very own 360° Safety Shield.
