In 2011, Praveen David’s daughter rescued a paralysed baby squirrel, which the family nursed and sheltered. Praveen designed a prosthesis for the animal to allow it to move and prevent it from biting its legs. Named Asterika, she was inseparable from Praveen’s little girl until she passed away just a couple of weeks ago.In Praveen’s own words, ‘Asterika was a furry bundle of joy on wheels.
