Hamsters are all different, Some love chewing some do not. Here I show you the chews I like and my hamsters like. If you are wondering about the pine in the ecotrition chews they are safe here is why: The problem with the pine bedding is it has a huge surface area compared to its volume, all those tiny little flakes. Something like a toy log made from compressed shavings will be absolutely fine to use. Even a lump of pine wood would be safe. But not safe if used for bedding.
