Doug Ford appeared on Newstalk 1010 Radio Sunday evening after 11:00 PM after John Tory announced on the station that he was going to run for mayor of Toronto the following morning. Doug took to task John Tory as well as other rivals for mayor Karen Stintz, David Soknacki and Olivia Chow. Towards the end of the interview Doug accused the station (which had previously aired the program Doug hosted with his brother, Toronto Mayor Rob Ford) of backing John Tory's candidacy. John Tory had been a program host on the station until he declared his candidacy.
