We did simulation of T106A turbine blade.
1. Transition prediction for clean blade at 0.4% turbulence intensity and inlet reynolds number 91000
2. Coupled pressure based solver is used.
3. All flow variables are solved using second order scheme
4. Time scheme is also second order accurate.
5. Simulation was run for 0.1 second and each time step was : 0.001 sec, 0.0001 sec and 0.00001 sec. Solution was averaged over all time steps to get the time average data and comparison was made with Steiger results.
6. We have also simulation on same turbine using the passive control, active control and wake separation interaction.
