Ukraine activist Dmytro Bulatov says he was tortured after being abducted

From a hospital stretcher Dmytro Bulatov has spelled out what he claims are grim details of his torture. The leading Ukraine activist and organiser of the anti-government car protests in Kyiv has pointed the finger at Russians for his abduction and visible injuries.
He told local media sources he was crucified, hung up by his wrists and repeatedly beaten after he had been abducted and held for eight days.
Police in the capital confirmed the activist was bruised and had received a cut to one of his wrists.
He has had surgery for his injuries and his alleged treatment has been described as a “barbaric act which must be investigated immediately,” by Amnesty International.
But the interior ministry has opened an investigation into his activities along with three other protesters and want to arrest him.
It comes on the day the amnesty for detained protesters and the repeal of the anti-protest legislation was signed into law.
