A long time ago, before Nintendo started making video games, they made Hanafuda Cards. Nintendo has a lot of history and it actually makes for a good read if you are ever interested in looking it up. Anyways, Hanafuda cards are treated the same way a regular deck of cards is here in America. There are certain games you can play with Hanafuda cards and many have their own special designs of Japanese Art and Culture.
These Hanafuda cards are available through Club Nintendo and I purchased them with coins that I got by registering games and systems on the site. I would suggest trying the site out if you have a lot of Nintendo made games and devices that aren't registered!
