NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell told the NFL Network that the league is considering a change in the scoring system. A change that would reportedly get rid of the "extra point" all together. Touchdowns would instead earn a guaranteed seven points, which could be bumped to 8, or dropped to 6, if the team decides to try for a typical "two-point conversion."
