You would think that child poverty in 21 century and in a so-called advanced society is all but eradicated. But with Britain's involvement in wars overseas and spending billions of Pounds on military and weapons, the social welfare and services are taking a big hit. Children bear the brunt of the austerity measures and cuts. Some families even have to choose whether to heat their homes or to eat. With a faulty education these children's future is bleak at best and they have little chance of lifting themselves out of poverty. Massive Child poverty in Britain is considered an undeniable scandal that could worsen by many folds unless the government alters its course of action and its priorities.
