In this video, Houston cosmetic dentist Dr. Amanda Canto talks about the advances in dental technology that have given dentists the opportunity to work with metal-free crowns and bridges.
Transcript: Technology has given us the opportunity to now practice dentistry metal- free. We now can actually do full porcelain crowns, or different types of zirconium's, lithium disilicates. Those are pretty technical terms for something that does not have any metal in it. We can do that with crowns. We can do that with bridges. Therefore, that traditional old gray line or black line around a crown is no longer something that is- should be a worry.
