Oncologist Dr. Rebecca Kaltman is interviewed by WTOP 103.5 about the BRCA1 gene, increased risk of breast & ovarian cancer in individuals carrying the gene, and the mastectomy procedure. This interview was conducted after the recent announcement about Oscar-winning actress Angelina Jolie's double mastectomy surgery which she had to decrease her chances of developing cancer.
