ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION)

A Boeing cargo jet that was stranded overnight after landing at the wrong Kansas airport took off without incident on Thursday (November 21) despite initial concerns that the runway might be too short.

A special team of pilots were brought in from New York to negotiate Colonel James Jabara Airport 's shorter runway which is better suited for smaller aircraft. Witnesses say the plane took off with full power and did not use the entire length of the runway.

The plane will land at McConnell Air Force base and unload as planned.
