Miley Cyrus smoking weed video: the Hannah Montana singer and world's most famous twerk dancer caused controversy and conversation after she lit what appeared to be a marijuana cigarette joint blunt spliff doobie on stage at the MTV European Music Awards in Amsterdam on Sunday.
The former Disney star was on stage to accept the Best Video Award for her smash hit Wrecking Ball. While giving her acceptance speech, Miley Cyrus rooted around in her Chanel handbag, dug out what appeared to be a marijuana cigarette joint blunt spliff doobie, set it on fire and then took a whiff. In a move that caused further offense, Miley Cyrus bogarted the cigarette joint blunt spliff doobie, failing to share it or pass it on or anything.
The MTV European Music Awards were held in Amsterdam, where you can walk into any old Starbucks and order a marijuana cigarette joint blunt spliff doobie to go with your Grande Latte (ed: this may not be exactly correct).
No, what bothers TomoNews is Miley's incessant attention whoring and her ability to get the world distracted with subjects that don't really matter. Over the weekend, more than 10,000 people lost their lives in the Philippines, in the largest typhoon ever recorded. Another 600,000 are displaced and struggling to get back on their feet.
But there was one bright light at the music awards: Jared Leto, who led a minute of silence in tribute to the victims. Leto said: ''If we can be part of the solution rather than the problem then that's a wonderful thing and there's a terrible tragedy just affected a great number of people, many people have died, many people are displaced and they are in turmoil right now."
