Exploring Griggs Dam - Columbus Ohio

https://www.youtube.com/CyclingExplorerTV - The dam was built in 1905, named in honor of Julian Griggs, who was chief engineer for the City of Columbus for many years. Mr. Griggs died in 1922.
Griggs Reservoir Park is situated along the river, it is well-known by boaters and fishers alike. The boat launches are located south of Fishinger Road at Nottingham. For those who are looking to picnic, hike, or to simply explore, there is public parking and picnic areas available throughout the 2.25 mile stretch of the park.
