A retired Veterinary doctor is hired as director Lahore Forensic Lab. Though the post requirements are to have an expert who must have spent seven years in the relevant field and one year as director forensic lab anywhere. But, authorities have hired a man of irrelevant field. Moreover, according the audit report of Punjab Home Department, six men who are working as Lab Scientist carrying irrelevant degrees. In audit report, the procedure of hiring DG Forensic Lab Dr, Ashraf Tahir is also called unsatisfactory. He was appointed by CM Shahbaz Sharif violating the rules of hiring set by the government.
