One educational facility was recently forced to temporarily close, not in part to weather, but instead because of an outbreak of Britain's most venomous spider.

How would you react if you spotted multiple spiders in a building where you worked or went to school?

One school was recently forced to temporarily close because of an outbreak of Britain's most venomous spider. The Dean academy will be closed for a full day so experts can come in and fumigate the building.

In a letter written by the school vice-principal Craig Burns, he noted “This will enable pest control to fumigate every area in the academy and ensure everyone's health and safety. There have been no reports of anyone being bitten by the false widow spiders at the academy."

The insects in question are false widow spiders which are considered to be be the most dangerous among those found in the UK. There were reportedly sightings of the false window spiders in several buildings of the academy, most notably in the information and technology rooms.

Its currently believed climate change may be causing an increase of sightings in Britain. Those bitten by false widow spiders normally encounter swelling, chest pains and tingling of extremities.

Parents are urged to seek medical advice if they have any concerns.
