The first look teaser trailer of Rajjo is out in stores. Featuring Kangana Ranaut in lead, the promo gives us a glimpse of musical and melodious drama on the customary Mujra and Kotha's in the country.
Rajjo is a love story between a Muslim nautch girl and a Brahmin boy. Though mainly narrated as a love story, the movie also looks into the issue of the mujra houses that are dying a slow death in today's competitive world of high rises and corruption. There was a time when areas like Mumbai Central and Nagpada were known for kothewallis and their kothas.
In this women-centric film, Kangana looks quite refreshing and promising in her mujra girl character. The movie also stars Mahesh Manjrekar, Prakash Raj, Jaya Prada, Dalip Tahil, Paras Arora, and others in their respective roles.
