Stanley Meyer's car actually runs on quantum physics. When a particle is ionized it can travel from point A to point B with out existing between points A and B. This defies Newtonian Physics where a particle must travel between the two points. When a particle jumps between points A to B without existing in between the points it is called a quantum leap.
Meyer's ionizer takes advantage of the energy within the quantum leap basically creating a quantum slingshot that propels the piston.
Stanley Meyer was sued, threatened with prison and eventually killed for making this discovery.
