Nidal Hasan will be sentenced to death for the 2009 Fort Hood Massacre. He was found guilty of 13 counts of premeditated murder and 32 counts of attempted premeditated murder. He will get an automatic appeal of his death sentence, but has been immediately stripped of his rank and will lose all day and benefits in two weeks. Hasan didn’t reveal a motive and represented himself in court.
