Fifth Living Service Member Stf. Sgt. Ty Carter Awarded Nation’s Highest Honor

President Obama awarded the highest military honor to the fifth living soldier Monday. Ty Carter received the honor for courage in Iraq and Afghanistan. It recognizes his actions during the Battle of Kamdesh risking his own life to save fellow soldiers.
