Slavery in the City leads to death of a bank intern

The death of a 21-year-old intern Moritz Erhardt, who was working at Bank of America in London, has led to calls for an overhaul of working patterns in The City.

Although unexplained, colleagues believe the culture of being expected to work 100 hour weeks, and sometimes through the night, on consecutive days may have contributed to his death.
