Legendary writer Elmore Leonard passed away Tuesday morning at his home in Detroit. He was 87 years old. Many of Leonard’s short stories and novels have been turned into blockbuster films, including: "Get Shorty," "Be Cool" and "3:10 to Yuma". The news of his death was announced on his Facebook page in a post written by his researcher.
