Grasslands of Shokhalia have been green and grassy since the monsoon rains hit. Cattle have been brought out by the locals to graze on the grass. The Indian Monsoon changes the complete look of the area and cattles of all kinds are seen grazing along with kids acting as their shepherds.
At Shonkhalia in Ajmer district of Rajasthan, the monsoon has played its cards well. The fields and adjoining low lying areas have been flooded with the rainwater. Shonkhalia is famous for its bird sightings of the endangered Great Indian Bustard and the Lesser Florican. Dry state of Rajasthan holds up a completely new, fresh and wet look in the monsoon.
