Wigan chairman Dave Whelan has told talkSPORT that he is reluctant to sell anymore of the club’s key players.
The Latics have sold Arouna Kone and Antolin Alcaraz to Everton so far this summer but have managed to hold on to stars like James McCarthy, Shaun Maloney and Callum McManaman, who have interested a host of Premier League sides.
And, although bids are likely to be forthcoming before the transfer window is out, Whelan has revealed he isn’t keen to let them go.
