Kareena Kapoor will essay the character of a journalist in Prakash Jha's Satyagraha and though earlier it was reported that her character is inspired from real life journalists like Barkha Dutt and Christiane Amanpour, the actress recently refuted the rumours.
At a recently held event when Kareena was asked if her character is inspired by anyone, she said, "The character hasn't been inspired by any one in particular. Prakash ji has written a character of a woman who is totally involved in her work and that's all she can think of. She's a woman with dignity and integrity. She's a strong journalist, who is at the top of her game."
The film also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Ajay Devgn, Arjun Rampal and Manoj Bajpayee in the lead roles.
